The breakfast was perfect with many healthy options, orange juice and yoghurt and great staff. The hotel was in a very central setting very close to the town centre.

Really enjoyed my excellent stay during my entire visit. Its location to the key sights was marvellous.

A good choice of food at the perfect and absolutely superb breakfast. A work desk, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels available in the deluxe king room. Good dishes, central location so close to the center of Durham.  

The unit we got was tastefully decorated with tea.

The breakfast was perfect and good with a vegetarian option, and all the food was delicious.

Delicious cuisine, the place is perfectly clean.

The rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped with incredible views of the castle. Its decor is modern. The hotel boasts central location to all the sights of Durham.

Every time we stay in Durham, like to stay here. The breakfast was good, we truly enjoyed variety of meals. The location is brilliant and great, very close to all the historical sites. Plus, this hotel is close to more coffee shops, a contained back garden

The deluxe king room I had was accommodating. The breakfast I had was perfect and good with croissants and orange juice, as example. The location was pleasant, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Oriental Museum.  

I had appetising food for breakfast with a vegetarian option. The staff were nice and knew the area. Its location was marvellous back to the pub.

The room was large, and we had an awesome view of the castle. The hotel was located in the centre of the city.

The stay here was enjoyable during my entire visit. I was offered an excellent breakfast for vegetarians. The accommodation had a very central location down to the river.

Central location so close to the centre of a University City. Based next to the Cathedral and Castle and a very welcoming pub as well as the train station, the Durham historic center, and beautiful cathedral. Variety of options, good food. 

Appealing place, I truly enjoyed kind personnel.

The location was marvellous and stunning - in the centre of Durham. Took me 10 minutes to get to train station. The morning meal was perfect and sensational with orange juice, good alternatives, yoghurt.  

Appreciated our rooms with great breakfast. The hotel was set in a central area so close to the historic city centre and the pubs, attractions and shops.

We didn't like the bed, it was a bit too soft.
